Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork belly
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pink curing salt (optional, for bacon)
Instructions:

Prepare Bacon:
- Slice pork belly into 1/4 inch strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Marinate pork belly strips in the mixture for 24 hours in the refrigerator, turning occasionally.
- Preheat your Grillz BBQ Grill in smoker mode (lid on) to 200°F (93°C).
- Place bacon strips on the grill’s cooking grill plate and smoke for 2-3 hours until crispy and cooked through.

Prepare Jerky:
- Slice pork belly into thin strips against the grain.
- Marinate with the same mixture as bacon but omit the curing salt.
- Preheat Grillz BBQ Grill in smoker mode to 160°F (71°C).
- Arrange strips on the grill and smoke for 4-6 hours until dried and chewy.
